Caroline Springs
Caroline Springs
Caroline Springs is a rapidly expanding development by Delfin that was established in 1999. Its population is expected to reach 23,000 by next year. From the suburb's centre, it takes a mere thirty minutes to reach the city along the Western Freeway. Public transport is not readily available in the area yet, although there are plans to build a train station in the future.

There is a commercial district around Lake Caroline, which includes a selection of shops, restaurants and cafes. There is also a shopping centre, Caroline Springs Square, which includes a Coles supermarket and a number of specialty stores. The West Waters 5 star Hotel and Entertainment Complex features a gaming room and sports bar.

Kororoit Creek winds its way through the centre of the suburb and provides some wonderful wildlife to study. Several species of frog which have returned to the area are particularly popular with environmentalists. Brookside College is a Prep to Year 9 school that caters for local residents, as does Southern Cross College. Nearby schools include Deer Park Secondary College and Cairnlea Park Primary.
